The Capture Tabbed Window
See the right screenshot. The capture tabbed window located at the left side of the software's main window. The capture tabbed window includes nine buttons for different capturing purposes.
  • Capture Windows, Buttons, etc.
    Click this button to capture by enuming all object windows, buttons, controls available on the screen. When move the mouse cursor on the screen, the software will show a rectangle to hilight the current windows, buttons, or controls under the mouse for capturing.

  • Capture Active Window
    Click this button to hide the main window and capture the current active window.

  • Capture Rectangle Area
    Click this button to capture a rectangle area from the screen by drag and drop with the mouse, or use the arrow keys on the keyboard.

  • Capture Fixed Area
    Click this button to capture a fixed rectangle from the screen. The fixed rectangle may be defined from "Tools > Set Fixed Region...".

  • Capture Text
    Click this button to hide the iScreenCapture main window and capture text from a rectangle area from your PC screen.

  • Capture Color
    Click this button to capture any colors from from your PC screen.

  • Capture Icon: 32x32, 24x24, 16x16
    Click this button to capture an icon area from the screen by move and click the mouse, or use the keyboard keys. iScreenCapture supports capturing icons of 32x32, 24x24, 16x16 sizes. If you want to capture an icon of other size, please use the button "Capture Fixed Region".

  • Capture Full Screen
    Click this button to hide the iScreenCapture and capture the full PC screen.

  • Capture Desktop
    Click this button to hide the main window and capture your PC's full desktop.

All the above captures may be fired by hot keys, short keys, select menu from the drop-down menu "Capture", or select menu from the icon docked in the system tray icon area.
